What is the task and who are the members of the Council for the Coordination of Security and Intelligence Services?

The Council for the Coordination of Security and Intelligence Agencies implements the decisions of the President of the Republic and the President of the Government concerning the directing of the work of security and intelligence agencies, operationally coordinates the work of security and intelligence agencies and other entities of the security and intelligence system, gives opinions on the cooperation with counterpart services in other countries, submits proposals to the National Security Council, and takes other measures with the view of improving the effectiveness and the quality of work of security and intelligence agencies.

Members of the Council for the Coordination of Security Services are: the Member of the Government responsible for national security, as the Chairperson; the National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic, as Deputy Chairperson; the Directors of security and intelligence agencies and the Director of UVNS.
