A session of the National Security Council, chaired by the President of the Republic of Croatia and Commander-in-Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, was held in Split. At the Council session the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Mr Tihomir Orešković reported on the topics and results of the informal meeting of the heads of state or government of the 27 EU Member States held on 16 September 2016 in Bratislava.
Current information regarding the state of migration was also discussed, with a view to planning further coordinated action of the competent state institutions.
An analysis was made along with the reaffirmation of Croatia’s commitment to fulfil the obligations arising from the conclusions of the NATO Summit held in Warsaw in early July and other decisions of the Alliance.
