Oversight directed at the legality of work and expert-based methods applied by the security and intelligence agencies. It is performed by officials with long-term experience in the Croatian security and intelligence system and with adequate expert knowledge on the methodology of work of security and intelligence agencies. Professional oversight in the Republic of Croatia is performed by the authorized officials of the Office of the National Security Council.
