Except for the above-mentioned types of oversight it may be said that in the Republic of Croatia in one part of work oft he security and intelligence system there is another, indirect mechanism of judicial oversight, taking into consideration the fact that a part of secret information gathering methods which temporarily restrict constitutional human rights and basic freedoms against citizens is approved by the Supreme Court (Article 33 – 38 of the Security and Intelligence System Act).
